Venue Of The Year So Far!

Thursford Museum

The magical setting inside The Thursford Collection has made this venue my favourite of the year so far. With is fairy lit trees and its wonderful, vintage fairground rides, it is a truly unique setting unlike no other venue that I have work with so far. The overall venue itself is a well done traditional wedding style location but the museum allows you to escape into another world entirely. There is no shortage of photo opportunities, which is always good for me. I however recommend to couples interested in Thursford to give themselves enough time and book a two hour entrance to the museum. Trust me, once the wedding party has finished marvelling at the vintage rides, fairy lights and steam engines, you'll need the extra time to allow your photographer to give you exactly what you deserve from this location.

The Secret Garden

Another magical little photo location that all photographers and couples will love. You really can achieve a lot in a very small amount of time here. It also really helps as your overall wedding image collection after the day will all be very different, giving you that feeling that you actually had multiple portrait sessions on your special day. Again, Thursford is so rich in photo opportunities I strongly advise prioritising the photographers time to allow him/her to really capture it. After all you will have paid the money and it would be a shame to miss out.

The Dance Floor

The dance floor at Thursford is as good as I've seen and the lighting can be really special. Not only that but it can be really varying as the different colour light rotate across the dance floor, again giving your photographer a lot of changing colour pallets to explore.

In short if you are looking for something unique and a lot of different types of images from your day. Thursford is the place for your day
